Thank you so much for practising yoga with me! These Terms and Conditions are here to help make sure everyone has a positive experience.

This website is provided by Madeleine Hoevels (ABN 55 865 158 540). By accessing or using this website, my services, or content, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (the “Terms”). These Terms may be revised at any time by posting an updated version on the website.

Scope

These Terms apply to Group Yoga Classes at Dee Why Surf Life Saving Club, Private Yoga Classes, and Personalised Yoga Practice.

Pricing and Payment

Payment for services is required in advance and at the time of arrival (casual classes) or booking (other classes). Acceptable payment methods are cash, etransfer, or debit/credit card. Prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST. I reserve the right to change pricing at any time with notice provided by updating this website.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

CASUAL PASSES for classes at Dee Why Surf Life Saving Club: Casual (drop-in) classes are offered on a first come, first served basis and are subject to class capacity limits. A place in class is not guaranteed until you arrive and check in. I recommend arriving 15 minutes early to avoid disappointment! Once purchased, passes are non-refundable.

TERM PASSES for classes at Dee Why Surf Life Saving Club: Once purchased, term passes are non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances. Passes must be used within the stated term period. Should you be unable to attend, you may transfer your pass to another student. If a class is cancelled by the teacher, a full refund or class credit will be issued.

Private Yoga Classes and Personalised Yoga Practice: Once purchased, private yoga classes and personalised yoga practice passes are non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances. Should you be unable to attend, you may reschedule with more than 48 hours’ notice before class. Any cancellations made less than 48 hours before class will result in a forfeit of the class. If a class is cancelled by the teacher, a full refund or class credit will be issued.

How to transfer, cancel, or reschedule? By email at mhoevelsyoga@gmail.com

I understand that sometimes late cancellations and no shows are unavoidable. My goal is to give every student the best possible experience and discretion will be used when applying this policy.

Fit for Purpose

By participating in any classes, workshops or events, you confirm that, to the best of your knowledge:

· You’re fit and well enough to take part in yoga and gentle exercise

· You have no health risks, conditions, or injuries that could be exacerbated by physical exercise

· You’ll let me know before class if you have any injuries, medical conditions, or if you’re pregnant

· You’ll listen to your body and rest or modify poses whenever you need

If at any time you believe participating in a class could pose a risk to your health, you agree to immediately inform the teacher. While the teacher is not in a position to offer medical diagnosis, the teacher can suggest modifications to your practice. It is your sole responsibility to work within your limits and adjust your practice as necessary.

Please remember that yoga instruction is not a replacement for medical advice or treatment, and if you’re unsure whether yoga is right for you, it’s best to check with a healthcare professional first.

Class Etiquette

You agree to treat other participants with respect, follow guidance given during class, and use equipment safely and appropriately. Thank you for helping to create a calm and welcoming space.
